Ah! That’s better

I am complete once again. The new MP3 player is here. I ended up purchasing an Archos Gmini 220:
Archos Gmini 220 MP3 player

Not a colour screen, so it’s not really useful for pictures, but that’s not why I got it. It’s a 20GB player, with built-in mic, and line-level mp3 encoding upto 320Kbps.. Could this be the end of my minidisc setup here in the studio? Maybe.. We’ll see…

Here’s the CNET review
They like it, but that didn’t stop me πŸ™‚ ..

    Does it play MP4s?

  2. Administrator says:

    Umm.. No.

  3. Me says:

    Hahaha.. Mp4’s are dead.

  4. It’s too bad we are stuck in the old technology of MP3 format and moving ahead like in other things. It’s like we are all stuck on Windows98 and not moving.

Hope your new player is coming in handy and satisfying all your requirements. Have you done a sound tour with it yet? Maybe do one for the Bob and AJ Show. I remember the drive to the liquor store and it was funny.

I am happy you did not choose an IPod! πŸ™‚

  6. Hey Michael, what’s wrong with the iPod? My wife and I love ours. Sure, there’s better featured players out there if your needs require them, but I don’t expect anything more of my iPod than listening to music and viewing my photos after I transfer them from the digital camera.
