Post PAB let-down

Home!

Once again, Podcasters Across Borders rocked. Any time I wonder why I do what it is I do, this community reminds me. I honestly never thought we’d be able to come close to the vibe from last year. I was sure it had something to do with the fact that it was the first PAB, and while I knew this one would be a good time, I wasn’t expecting it to come to an even higher level. A few people commented to me that PAB feels like a family, and seriously, there is no greater compliment for me than that.

I’ll have more thoughts and reflections on PAB2007 over the next few days, and if they’re interesting I’ll share them here. For now, we’re relaxing after a long drive, checking some emails and taking it easy..

Thanks to everyone who was there, you all made PAB2007 another crazy success.

To all my PAB friends – YOU ROCK!

So glad I made it out this year. As a podcaster wannabe/groupie I do find this group to be very much a family and you are warm, welcoming and encouraging.

That was some serious good times.

I’m giving you and Blevis a standing ovation (even though you can’t see it).

I’m currently picking the pieces of my brain up from the floor – I learned too much this past weekend and it exploded!!

Bob, I know I said this yesterday, but I don’t think it can be said enough — thank you to all of you for taking the time to do this, to create something so wonderful and powerful. I’m feeling a bit of that post-event let-down you mention, but I’ve still got lots of ideas to explore and I’m looking forward to re-listening to the sessions to keep the PAB vibe going.

And I came up with an idea for the next episode of my podcast on the way home in the car. Absolute inspiration — what more could I have asked for out of the weekend?
