A nice time last night at the Montreal meetup, Mark Blevis, Arthur Masters (& Michelle) made the trek from Ottawa to come hang out, and I saw some old friends like Sylvain Grand’Maison, Krash & Betty (who’ve started podcasting again) .. Even Julien Smith made a brief and under-lit appearance through Skype video on Mark’s macbook.

I also had some interesting conversations with new people (to me) like Laurent Lasalle, Pierre Journel, and a few others whose names I’ve …. ummm… misplaced… yeah, misplaced.

Christian from YULBUZZ was there too, and he interviewed Laurent, myself and Sylvain about the meetup (in french) :

Podmtl
(if you don’t understand french, they are basically saying that I’m a god, and ye must obey lest ye be smoten)

It was an enjoyable evening, lots of great discussions in both official languages. Some last minute cancellations, but that’s to be expected. I think we’ll do this again soon, probably late-may early-june..

We chatted well into the morning hours, ending the evening with a traditional Quebec delicacy, poutine @ La Banquise.

[...] Grâce à Yulbuzz (!), nous retrouvons les 3 initiateurs de la soirée : Laurent Lasalle (déjà deux articles depuis ce matin), Bob Goyetche (seulement un article depuis ce matin) et Sylvain Grand’Maison. [...]

good job dudes, i had a great time watching this.

It was a good time, even if I did have to leave early :)

Didn’t have the chance to chat with everyone but I liked it. Next time I expect to have a conversation with you Bob. Love your show. Keep up that great work…
