today is the last day of my 37th year. We are supposed to get wiser as we get older. Let me prove that wrong by giving you the first 5 thoughts off the top of my head on this spring day..:

  • No matter what the technology, it’s all about people.
  • Call your mom.
  • Try to see the bigger picture, chances are, it’s happier than you think.
  • Being a dad is one of life’s biggest pleasures.
  • Go “outside your box”, you’ll be surprised what you find.

Hey! I resemble that remark.

Well Bob, if my (mumble, mumble) years have taught me anything, it is that you’ve hit the nail on the head with 5 out of 5 of your Birthday thoughts.

I’ll add another that has made a huge difference in my life and that is:

“Forgiveness is the key to happiness.”

Happy Birthday my friend,

- Bruce

happy birthday, bob!

you’re as old as the woman you feel! that makes me a bit older than you, although biologically i’m younger. that said, i can no longer express my age in five binary digits…

all the best, bob.

Happy happy Bob. Great tips man. I am a big believer in your five points.

Have a great b’day!
Dave

Hey Bob!

Happy Birthday, and thanks for sharing your insights with us young’uns. I’ll join you in May.

Cheers, and many more happy, healthy and Podcasting years ahead.

Mark

[...] I only started reading Bob’s blog when turned onto it on Twitter today. Bob’s turning 38, and these are just 5 things that come of the top of his head for the day: * No matter what the technology, it’s all about people. * Call your mom. * Try to see the bigger picture, chances are, it’s happier than you think. * Being a dad is one of life’s biggest pleasures. * Go “outside your box”, you’ll be surprised what you find. [...]

Happy (belated) birthday Bob.
Hope you had a good’un.

All the best,
Chris.
