February is looking better

I’m almost finished wading through the big pile of crap commonly called January. The month of Feburary is looking much better! I’ve got some great things to look forward to:

  • My NEW (not refurb’d) Macbook Pro will arrive, and my transition to a more creative platform will progress.
  • I’m going to meet some great bloggers for drinks & meal on Febuary 21st. Shel Israel (co-author of Naked Conversations with Robert Scoble) will be in town. All are welcomed, reserve a spot on Marc Snyder’s blog by leaving a comment. I’m really looking forward to meeting everyone there.
  • a few days after that I’ll be attending Podcamp Toronto. I’m co-presenting with Mark Blevis We’ll be presenting Building a communityBranding is an important part of establishing your identity. Podcasting affords opportunities to leverage your brand to build a community of interest with active members and regular correspondence and dialog. This presentation shares ideas and real-life accounts of how a Podcast can be used to build a community.
  • The Canadian Podcast Buffet celebrates episode 50. What a great project that has turned out to be!

    Hey Bob!

I’m looking forward to CPB-50, and co-presenting and partying with you at PodCamp.

  3. Nico says:

Not to mention you don’t have an Argentinian eating all your food anymore…

  4. Bob says:

Having an Argentinian over was one of the few good things about January 🙂

  5. Hey Bob,

It was certainly a rough opening for 2007 for you and your family….let’s hope things are better from here on out….looks like a fine Feb upcoming!

  6. Hey Bob,

I’m glad to hear that February is looking up for you.

I’m really going to miss not being at Podcamp Toronto, especially the swimming, canoeing, and crafts; like making pop filters out of birch bark.

Take lots of pictures and keep your recorder going 24 hours a day, and then E-mail it all to me, OK.

Be well my friend, and have fun at Camp – Bruce
