The irony is that most blog software inserts code in the comments to prevent search engines from following links. That finely crafted comment was likely wasted and didn't even provide any SEO benefits. However, on the off chance that search engine spiders do read the comments on this blog, I would like put in a few keywords to associate with my blog. Awesome, Epic, Anatidaephobia, Ernest Borgnine. I actually decided to not even follow the details behind the "Brogan Incident" because I made the thin slice of 'this is internet BS and I don't need to hear the nonsense'. I have followed Chris for a few months now (which makes me a complete newb I suppose)and there is no indication that he's not stand up. The whole SEOing of the net is getting shameless. Oh well, I guess we just need to stay altruistic and ignore the silliness. Take it easy. Good point. Chris was honest and open, hey if the guy can get a few bucks for his honest opinion, why not. Its not like K mart is as evil as any other major retailer. I would have been upset if Chris had hid the fact that he was getting paid, the fact that he comes right out and stated the fact right up front is great, that lets me know if I want to trust him or not, and if I want to read the post.
